Background

Attorney Walsh was born and raised in New Bedford, Massachusetts. He is the son of Attorney Patrick T. Walsh and Heidi Walsh. Tim graduated from New Bedford High School in 2000. While at New Bedford High School, he was a member of the Football, Basketball, Baseball and Track teams. After high school, Attorney Walsh attended and graduated from Lafayette College in Easton, Pennsylvania. At Lafayette, Attorney Walsh played for the Lafayette Leopard Football team, where he was a tight end and a four-year letter winner.


Upon graduation from Lafayette, Attorney Walsh worked in the Corporate Office of a Telecommunications Company in New Jersey. In 2006, he returned to Massachusetts and enrolled in the Southern New England School of Law in Dartmouth, Massachusetts. In 2008, Attorney Walsh was named Managing Editor of the Southern New England School of Law, Law Review. During law school, Attorney Walsh was employed as a Legal Assistant at the Law Offices of Markey & Walsh. Upon graduation, he was sworn into the Massachusetts Bar.


Attorney Walsh is a member of the Bristol County Bar Association, the New Bedford Bar Association and is involved in numerous civic organizations. Additionally, he is commissioned as a Notary Public in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. In 2010, Attorney Walsh was appointed by Governor Deval Patrick to the Board of Commissioners of the New Bedford Housing Authority.


Attorney Walsh is proud to be an active member of the New Bedford community. He currently serves as a volunteer at the Nativity Prep School in New Bedford; the Boys and Girls Club of Greater New Bedford; and he is an active supporter of the New Bedford High School Athletic Programs.
